Dear Cloe,

My name is Elizabeth Taylor; I just can’t wait to have you in my country as my exchange daughter. It’s the first time, we host a student from Costa Rica. We’ve heard a little about it, so, I’m sure you’ll learn about United States and we’ll learn about Costa Rica. Last time, we had a student from South Korea. Ohh Gosh! It was a lovely experience. I think this one won’t be different. 

I want to introduce myself to let you know who I am. I live in San Diego, California. Here, I live with my husband and my son Johannes and our pet Socrates. Our son is six years old. We both work in different institutions. My husband is a university professor and director of an institute for advanced studies that is in Los Angeles. I’m a teacher, I teach three subjects, Italian, German and history at a school here in San Diego. 

Our house is in the middle of the city and it is only 10 minutes to your future school. Our school is the only one in the area that has English as a foreign language. Other subjects in this school are History, Geography, PE, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Art and Music. Are you interested in any of these subjects? I’d like to know what you are interested in!
